Ideal of Sweden are keeping their numbers confidential but have revealed that they shipped 11 orders per second during the peak hours of Black Friday. The record shattered their record from last year's Black Friday. Behind Ideal of Sweden's latest success lies organisational investments, expansions into new markets and a e‑commerce platform migration that was executed in the beginning of the year.
“Our Black Friday success is a result of hard work, grit and determination from out team, along with a switch the e‑commerce platform Centra which was finalized in early 2019. We would never have been able to handle the extreme amounts of traffic that our e‑commerce store was hit with during Black Friday if we hadn’t made the decision to switch to Centra. A key to their successful growth is an aggressive expansion strategy where they’ve launched the brand on manby new markets in the past few months. Ideal of Sweden’s e‑commerce store is currently live and adapted with dynamic and localized content for 22 international markets – where collaborations with local influencers is a central part of the strategy. Ideal of Sweden plans to double their annual revenue from 2018 during 2019 and look to launch the brand and 20+ new markets during 2020.
